I want to be upfront and transparent about my approach to customer service. I have several mental health conditions that influence how I operate my business, and I believe it's important for you to understand this so you have realistic expectations.
My Unique Circumstances
I experience a combination of anxiety, social phobia, introversion, and autism. These conditions impact my communication style and preferences. While I am committed to providing excellent service, my preferred method of communication is email. This allows me to process information thoughtfully and formulate thorough, accurate responses.
Why Email is My Preferred Method
- Reduced Anxiety: Phone calls can be overwhelming due to social anxiety and the pressure of real-time conversation.
- Time for Thoughtful Responses: Email allows me to carefully consider your questions and provide the most accurate and helpful information possible.
- Clear Communication: Written communication is often more straightforward for those on the autism spectrum.
Response Times
I understand the importance of timely responses. However, due to my conditions, my response times may be slightly longer than those of neurotypical businesses. I work diligently to get back to you as quickly as possible, but my schedule isn't always consistent.
My Working Hours
I also struggle with insomnia and depression. As a result, my sleep patterns are irregular, and I don't operate on a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. I will do my utmost to respond to inquiries as soon as I can, but there won't be set business hours.
